Wasn’t my cup of tea

Well the contrasts continue. After the luxury of the Oberoi we were really roughing it at Jungle Lore. After taking Dramamine for the ride up, eating a large lunch of unfamiliar foods and sleeping in a heated bed in a room with no heat, I was unable to make the morning 5 am trek to the hide where Mike saw many birds. I went back to bed and stayed close to the bathroom. I watched birds from the porch later in the day staying warm in the sun. Although the actual accommodations were less than ideal in my opinion, the hosts were the most delightful so far and always looking after us. And Bob the dog was in charge of keeping monkeys away.
