We are staying at Jim’s Jungle Retreat, which is quite nice for a nature lodge. We went out to watch a movie the resort put on about Jim Corbett a tiger hunter turned conservationist who this national park is named after. On the way back, just before reaching the room, I felt another sharp pain in my other foot. I continued to enter the room walking on the side of my foot and pulled a small nail out of my shoe. It barely entered and I’m just glad I’m up on tetanus shots. (In fact, I had an extra since I forgot a doctor not affiliated with UCLA gave me one three years ago and. UCLA last year).
