Paradise Found

One does have to wonder a bit when you see where your sea plane is landing. Well, everything went smoothly this morning for our transfer from Male to our first stop for two nights at Hurawalhi. Mike remembered our last sea plane transfer to Kudadoo as being hot and crowded, so this time he booked the entire 12 passenger plane for ourselves! That meant private car and boat transport was included and they are both short little rides. The Maldives has really improved the area the sea planes come and go from since our last visit and it’s a separate little terminal. After landing the boat was right there for us and within minutes we were greeted by the lovely staff singing and clapping.  The first thing I said coming down their dock was “my husband plans the best vacations.” I believe we have win the room lottery here as well. We chose beach side with a plunge pool since at Kudadoo we will be over water villa again. The over water villa section here at Hirawalhi is quite cramped looking whereas the beach side ones are much more private. We are so happy to be here! It’s hot and sunny and we plan to barely leave our private space until we boat over to Kudadoo.
