If there’s one bird we wanted to see in India, it was the Rufous-Necked Hornbill. Fortunately our guide knew of a tree that they feed from. After lunch we stopped to see a red headed trogon and then made our way to that tree. They weren’t in that tree, but they were nearby. The female is all black, and the male has the rufous color neck. They flew around a bit and did find some berries in a tree. The male even fed the female some.
